Queer Stockholm

Join us on a walk through Stockholm’s queer history, from the late 19th century to today.

Queer Stockholm offers an insight into the sexual culture of the city and the diverse lives of LGBTQ people in Stockholm, from the 19th century onwards.

During the walk, we visit places that have been associated with sexual expectations and possibilities, but also restrictions. These include nightclubs, bathhouses, cruising parks, private homes and public toilets. We also look at the historical links between sexuality and Stockholm as a whole.
